It's been years since I've read it and I barely remember only the first few chapters I read, I'm glad I can finish it now
It was like a zombie apocalypse, and the main character was a frail twink who lived in a facility with doctors and researchers, for reasons I don't quite remember, him and some buff guy with red(?) Hair get out of the facility and either have to get back or are running away, they are bonded in some way and I think some humans had special powers, if this sounds familiar to anybody it would be cool to finish reading it.
