I think you meant to say findings, which rely on citations and evidence. Hypothesis is educated PREDICTIONS and unproven assumptions, for events that have not occured, there is no obligation for citations.

I just use the first word off top of my head that is scientific but thank you for the education, I feel photosynthesis (▰˘◡˘▰)
