Rachmaninoff

I wish more people would pay attention to Rachmaninoff's story in chapter 117. Rachmaninoff is mentioned many times in the story, and there's an emphasis on how Heejae's music style is reminiscent of Rachmaninoff. Rachmaninoff's story is parallel to Heejae's in a way that both are successful in their own career paths but their soul could never be satisfied and at rest.

In season 5, Garam would have to perform a Rachmaninoff piece, which he initially struggles to interpret. It's only through understanding Heejae that he's able to capture its soul and truly bring the music to life.

I wish there was someone more knowledgeable in music and fine arts that could interpret these symbolisms for us. I could read a whole essay on this fr!

yesss this is so true I need someone to analyze the music parts of this story. I think another thing to note is that Horowitz knew Rachmaninoff irl and knew him greatly and Rachmaninoff admired Horowitz a LOT. idk I think something can be said about that but I'm too stupid to say something about that connection lmao

That makes two of us lol. I've been reading up on Rachmaninoff and Horowitz lore, they're really Heejae and Garam's parallel. I'm just happy that they had good relationship with each other, makes me very optimistic with Heejae and Garam's endgame.
