Honestly, hyesung’s behavior annoyed me as much as Dojin’s early behavior. He made stupid choices, and of course he doesn’t deserve to be raped for it, but the choices he made AFTER was his own fault. He has no money, family, or even a home. What could he have done? Idk, abort the baby, demand compensation in return for not pressing charges, or anything other than living with the person that raped you. However that didn’t happen because this is old omegaverse, where rape isn’t taken as seriously as it should be and I just have to live with that since that’s just how these stories were. At least Dojin had character development and made sure not to hurt hyesung again after realizing his feelings.

Idk if they mentioned it and I forgot, but I assumed he was only a few years older, older at best, considering they were probably the same-ish age in the original universe they were in(both in college iirc, correct me if I’m wrong)

They both make stupid decisions in the series and I by no means mean to say Dojin is perfect. That’s why I said he has character development(even the lie he tells hyesung was due to him not wanting him to have any regrets by cutting off his mom who has nothing left. Also because his mom looks so much like him(hyesung)).

However hyesung also makes incredibly stupid decisions that no person in their right mind should make if they’re dealing with their rapist(I.e. being the first to make and suggest that contract where he would be around him 24/7. Instead of idk, aborting the child, pressing charges or getting money out of a settlement). They’re both heavily flawed characters, but at least they both fall in love in the end so I don’t really care at that point. I honestly prefer the side couples more.

Honestly, I only hoped to let future readers know that this story isn’t full of rape and psychological horror like other comments and yours make it seem like. It has many of the pitfalls of older omegaverse stories but it isn’t a shitshow like no reason or something.

Dojin verbally promised almost everything in the contract anyway. HS just notarized it in writing.

First time, Dojin sexually harassed HS first which got him into heat. I'd say it's more of a rape because HS was out of his mind and he couldn't be consenting legally speaking. Second time is the same thing, but I don't blame Dojin much cus it's omegaverse lol.
