definitely, the author does a good job on making realistic characters. I just wish the readers can understand that it’s not black and white, and one person doesn’t take all the blame
Really. I'm shocked how much my opinion towards Sunwha changed within two chapters.
My issue is with people who are blatantly ignoring how manipulative ml was right from the start. Sunhwa said his intentions outright, he was there for the money and gifts, and I think nanjo knew about it but chose to ignore because he liked Sunhwa but ml manipulated nanjo, yes they had sweet times but people need to understand that it wasn't healthy at all. I don't know how old these readers are but a character like ml can be found anywhere, just be careful for the manipulative and obsessive ones.
Few days ago someone in reddit said about minors shouldn't read bl but I will be honest if writers keep on bringing such realistic story I think 13+ kids who are at an age where they start relationships should read. Not for the smut but for finding toxic traits on your person. I wrote the same and got downvoted but atleast that's what I feel.
Same here, Nanjo probably knew what he was doing when he was with Sunhwa, like some unrequited bs. The ML made a whole deal and contract to help nanjo with the twink, in exchange for sex (i forgot most of the story, so this may be inaccurate.) The relationship wasn’t built on a genuine path to love.
I also agree with the minors reading yaoi. I think that as long as you are mature enough, you can read stories like this in general. I just don’t support promoting it to minors, For example, telling a 12 year old kid to read a 18+ story. They should find out for themselves.
Yeah they should find out themselves I am not promoting 18+ stories to minors either. If some kid comes for me for recommendations I will recommend fluffy stories or something light but also touching heavy topics like one room ta
My heartfelt sympathies to ml but if I was in nanjo's position I wouldn't want anything to do with ml either. He is desperate, manipulative, here too he started with "twink just wanted a relationship to get something out of mc" rather than I am sorry I manipulated you. He needs a lot of self reflection.
Side note we all hated Sunhwa but he turned out to be the best character he actually did what any sane person would do.
