In the novel, Dane is actually very indifferent and doesn't care much with anyone except to animals and especially to his cat. None of his coworkers even knew where he live since he didn't bother telling them.
He knows. He just don't want to be involved in everything Grayson
Does Dane have selective amnesia? He knows who grayson’s dad is. He knows Chase. Does he not know who Chase’s dad is? Isn’t that public knowledge?
