Why's everyone suddenly forgetting that Mokyeon's as bad as the two of them? He cheated in past relationships with Sunhwa, coerced and raped Nanjo, and now he's suddenly too good for the two of them because he's crying with his sob story?
Are you guys forgetting the past chapters? If so, I need you guys to reread it

Yeah I think people tend to take the party of the mc and can’t see it from a broader perspective

I don’t know nanjo was wrong for assuming things and beating mok yeon up that’s true but at least he tried to be genuine in a way and never raped anyone I think if you look at it he is a lesser evil even though he isn’t good, if you reread the story especially the beginning mok yeon truly went too far he can’t expect things to be over quickly I get that you feel that way because mok yeon is the mc you see what he thinks and how he feels and he has a sad past but read it while thinking in nanjos place it’s awful he couldn’t have known what was happening in mok yeon’s head and in the end he was used by two people ( he was bad too I don’t say otherwise) and I don’t think that a painful past justify things it is an explanation for his behavior and why it’s hard for him to understand love I get it but it doesn’t nullify the hurt people went through I love mok yeon but i think people are getting emotional after reading his past yeah nanjo beating him that much was awful and even though he seems to have caught some feelings for mok yeon i get his reaction ( I would too beat up my rapist after accumulating all that especially after he does that while we were getting along better) and I think it was a necessary moment for the three characters to unlock the situation (resolve things) it’s not all black and white, I think people who jump on nanjo forgot that mok yeon is bad, they are quick to forgive mok yeon but hate on nanjo, the story isn’t about taking sides I think (it’s just my opinion )

The only thing I want to point out is that it's very difficult to force a sane person to have sex with you against their will, if they have even a shred of common sense in the situation the characters find themselves in. If Nanjo hadn't been so fixated on the idea that the blondie is universal evil without a voice, and that he himself should be the savior, and that the twink needs to be saved at all... I would say he is the root of evil. But that certainly doesn't make the blondie a good person, or his choices right. And love doesn't justify him at all. And a difficult childhood doesn't justify him either. So yeah. There is no point in taking sides here.
As for me personally, I just really don't like people who are unable to admit that they also influenced the situation in a not-so-good way, so I really don't like Nanjo.

Yeah I wrote a lot sorry and it was mostly not about the story but about the issue of consent in general, I’m using you to say my piece because I saw a lot of people say the same thing it’s not that easy it’s way more complicated that it can appear, don’t take it personnally I got a bit worked up

I don’t agree ( my opinion: ) it’s true that he kinda put himself in this situation however to not see it as forceful is kind of liying to yourself if you read their first time again it’s really disgusting yeah he may have agreed but it doesn’t mean it’s okay, would it be okay for you in mok yeon’s situation to have sex with someone clearly unwilling but sucking it up for whatever reason ?
Even if he enjoyed it does it mean that he wanted it ? A body enjoying sex is very different from the mind having consented, espcially the last time with Suha, yeah he could have beat him up earlier or left and yeah he was stupid to have a savior complex but it doesn’t make it less coercition ???? Even more so that he agreed to something at first (having sex one time) which was changed on mok yeon’s whim even though he agreed which was stupid it doesn’t make it okay, especially when you see their interactions after several times nanjo is just sucking it up and getting used to the situation until mok yeon’s tantrum is over, he doesn’t thrust mok yeon he doesn’t know what goes inside his head, he sees it as a whim from mok yeon to torment him or I don’t know, he doesn’t message first he just respond to mok yeon, all of it is mok yeon forcing things and not being happy when nanjo doesn’t reciprocate, and when nanjo thought that mok yeon wasn’t that bad (i think that’s what he thought) mok yeon went and did the thing during the threesome
yeah I agree that nanjo isn’t a baby and he could make rational decisions but does it make him less of a victim, do you think victims of rape or abuse are all stupid or uncapable or weak people ??? people don’t understand that coercition and manipulation have different ways of being done and no it’s not that difficult to have someone have sex with you against their will it’s how many rape happen and sometimes many times by the same person, You think it’s always in the menace of a knife or explicit coercition ?? With someone weak ? You think being able to refuse but not doing so means it’s okay to take advantage of someone, No sometimes it begins consensual and people change their mind, sometimes people get paralysed, sometimes people don’t realise what’s happening to them, sometimes people agree reluctantly (like here), sometimes it’s inside a relationship (does agreeing once means it’s always okay? No.) too often it’s inside a family, sometimes it’s under the influence and in this case it’s someones savior complex being taken advantage of, did mok yeon have to do this ? No. Would you use someone’s feelings to have them have sex with you even though they don’t want to if you say yes I can do nothing for you. Sex isn’t just supposed to be agreed on it’s supposed to be wanted by both people, really enjoyed by people who want to enjoy it who aren’t forced to enjoy or do thing they don’t WANT to (because want is the important word) wanting and agreeing to something is very different , saying yeah doesn’t always equal consent, real consent
Consent is not a given thing it needs to be checked and really understood
Even in the law consent isn’t defined linearly
    So stop with this narrative
Yeah it’s not a «rape rape » as h agreed to it but you can’t say it’s not forceful,
would you recommend to your friend to stay in a relationship with a guy who did that ???
I agree that nanjo is a hypocritical rich fucker out of touch with reality who judges people and don’t try to understand them a real product of capitalism and elitism and I don’t like that but it doesn’t invalidate anything
I still like mok yeon because I like the complexity of his character and the intensity of his feelings even his personality and I understand him
I like nanjo because h is cute and sexy and real kind inside even if he is an hypocrite (I think he developed some feelings for mok yeon too)
I read the story because I like it and I know it’s a story and because it’s well written things aren’t black and white
And again it’s not a story to take sides
But I can’t let people say that
    (Really sorry I didn’t mean to rant to you, love (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ I got a bit worked up haha )

Now you're just putting down victims of assault. No victim ever influenced a situation. No victims are 'roots of evil', no victim has any less common sense because they were manipulated by someone. They're victims. Nanjo is a victim of assault, rape, and coercion. And Mokyeon took advantage of this, regardless of whether he was aware of it or not. Anyone can be raped, no matter how bigger and stronger they are, anyone can be manipulated, no matter how smart and sane they are. Do some research on victims of assault because you put down real victims just to defend a rapist character.
