Chase wasn't as green as he is tho did we even read the same stories? When he developed attraction to joshua he was literally quite dumb and aggressive about it lol while grayson is the opposite (you'll be surprise) he wanted to give dane everything he wants like giving him gifts for darling lol imo grayson is the most sincere out of all the millers when falling in love, you need to read the novels to understand the characters more bcs the manhwas cut off a lot of stuff

MC is Grayson, the ml here is Dane. Also, have you already finished the novel to say this? Plus Chase is definitely not green. Until the side stories, he did not become green.

He's been in survival mode since before he hit double digits, I don't even know if I can call it PTSD if the source of trauma is repeatedly hanging around him to give him new trauma. While I don't condone violence, it wasn't pure malice…Keith intentionally messed around even when he knew the ML liked him. Grayson…well admittedly he's ill as well but speaking as an autistic, by twenties to thirties our demographic more or less manages to realize the basic right and wrong…and which things bring pain to other people. Not “understand” but “realize”, like we can pick it out already. So there's the basic understanding that people shouldn't hurt other people. Especially when someone points it out aggressively while crying miserably which a lot of the women that Grayson broke did…so he's willfully ignoring the hearts he breaks and that's wrong.

But someone mentioned the novel and that Grayson is really good, I've never read the novel…maybe I judged too early? Especially since Grayson pissed me off in Chase's arc. The dog thing was disgusting. Also, bullying such a beautiful little brother is also disgusting. Beauties should be protected!

I actually wrote more, idk my text was cut in half. Grayson is really adorable the entire time. Ik he has bad reputation frm other novels. But this character is the one the author has spent a lot on and is a very complex and well written character and that is the reason he has been shown in almost all the stories from other pov. Like yeonwoo, chase n josh. This is going to be the frst time whn readers will see him from his own n dane pov.

What i was saying in my previous text was that if anyone would love n cherish me like Grayson did with Dane, i would devote my life to that person. Also the way Dane understood Grayson anyone would want that from their partner. There is this person on X who has been following this whole universe from a very long. I like their explanations a lot. It's on point. If you want I can share that. That's really worth it.

Also there is a lit of misinformation on Chase's health issue. What everything he was going thru wasn't Grayson's fault. But I won't go into that as ppl really don't like it when u tell them what it actually was.

This is why it's better if you see other people and Dane's point of view first before jumping to conclusions. Of course, the other story was told from chase and josh povs whom he hurt before so he would be seen only as negative. But this is why the millers have their own stories.
Anyway, Grayson has symptoms of alexithymia, hence all his actions has been a product of copying, watching, but not understanding. So realizing it on his own is such a difficult thing for him. Add to that, he was raised without having someone to sit down and have a real conversation with him. You can realize it bit by bit from the available chapters. Novel has more details though.

Like the author has wrote the entire series with expansion of the events in different novel. I personal opinion is that to understand this as a whole Novel is the only options. Even after DMYIC, there are things that we will get to knw abt Grayson and the parents, the childhood part on other novels. It's not right to make judgements on any characters with just one novel. So I always advise manhwa readers to forget about how that character was in the previous novels. With chase, it was actually shown in the manhwa itself (not as well explained as novel but still it was understandable) abt his health conditions but the trauma part n the childhood part has overpowered it so much that many readers failed to see wht they have mentioned. All his memory loss, fainting etc is due to not extracting the pheromones in the safest way and instead using the injection and drugs that affected his health. Because of Grayson, he has Dog phobia. Rest of the time he is pretty much normal and that is how he is. It's a spoiler from other novel but his nature was violent since birth.

Oh and i am not justifying what Grayson did was right. Neither am I belittling chase sufferings. Chase pain was real, more because it was caused by his own family doesn't matter if it was unintentional.
