they're both a bit twisted - Maxi for not being able to trust people fully and Riftan for trying to solve everything by himself, which is also somewhat a lack of trust in other people :/ they also both seem to be unable to put their expectations into words... I want them to finally talk it out and get to the bottom of things! Once they work things out, they will be so lovely together!
As a novel reader I agree. I think you're gonna like the part 1 ending then...
The ending to part 1 (Book 1) is my only canon ending. These two are terrible for each other, if I'm being honest.
