Fr, poor writing. I mean Henry was standing right next to her. Could've tackled her to the ground, not somersault into the line of fire. Author just randomly adding MSG near the ending hoping to spice up the miscommunication more.
Yep, I’m speechless. Locking the door, quickly dragging her outside, knocking the gun away and pinning her to the floor—he did absolutely no single thing in any phase of that. Those are decisions even an amateur could make. If you won't portray their job with even a shred of common sense or respect, then you shouldn't be making it the theme of your work...
It’s only natural for a bodyguard=Josh to prioritize stopping their charge from dying right in front of them. And Chase is rly seriously suffering from PTSD. In a situation like that, it’s understandable he wouldn’t have the bandwidth to worry about the bodyguard who got shot (unless it was Josh).
Besides, if Henry had simply done the bare minimum required of a bodyguard and locked the door, he wouldn't have gotten shot in the first place. It was clearly his own negligence. Not that i'm blaming our Henry, it’s just the poor writing of the author.
