Nah bruh except u know more spoiler till now we just being shown that Gaon just want to be kind. Its cost her emotionally, like Levi said, it must cost something for her to be that kind, but till now nothing in the chapters prove that what she did because of ulterior motive. Well, maybe the later chapters author would villainizing her. But her response to the scenario between these two is 100 percents understandable from her perspective till now.

No YEAAAHHH!!! I HATE IT TOO!!! But in this case with how much information that we have I think Gaon is kinda just want to be able to helpful to people around her, she acknowledge too that ml depending toward her a lot so she want to cut corner on him at first, but backtracked because of mc's wish; tho the phone's case from that stalker make her go back to wanting to cut corner again. Bruh, I hope the author would consistent with Gaon's character and wont villainizing her without good reason later.
Honestly I dont see her mocking tone, but maybe because we read from difference perspective, I think Gaon at first truly baffled that ML actually "opened" on MC despite being mean (remember hes being mean too toward her the flashback so hes being mean toward new people is not "surprising"). But I think, instead ignoring it, this is the part that I think Gaon want to be selfish later, Gaon understand that ML is kinda ... have dependency toward her, and she want to allocate that responsibility on MC, and try to move on with her own burden (her grandma and her future).
Because from the clip of her inner mind that we got, she actually care on MC, u know.

Nah, if u live in Asia too like me u know the "golden teach" here for woman/girl: to be kind, to be more understanding, and to be mature, so u can control ur emotion urself. And somehow Gaon show me that here. Instead doesnt want to talk to her own struggle, she cant. Society want her to be kind, and it take a toll on her. Bruh. U can even see at one point she is uncomfortable with the ML actually and kinda want to stay away. But ml need her as his anchor makes its hard to do that (and including MC wish too).
And the sad part it, I think at one point Gaon truly think she can make a connection andbe honest on MC for her own problem (and she still is, but not much like beginning). But u can see too that the trust kinda broken because what MC did behind her back with the ML. Now instead "I need to endure more for MC and ML" its become "oh MC and ML can do something themselves without me finally I can step back from the role".
Of course later the author can make her character that obsessed with "saviour complex" later. Kinda the only understandable route to get too. But daaammmnnn, I can see the "oldest daughter problem" on her but in different perspective. As a sole caretaker of her grandma, living in struggle, have a friend that she actually feel uncomfortable with but need to put up because she need to understand his struggle (change it to another male family member and ull get what I mean), a friend that she thought she can finally bond with but instead in cahoots with the same person that she uncomfortable with. Like daaammmnnn.
