That's a way to see definitely but id rather think of the more positive side that the side top who knows what problems euihyun has would've able to help and euihyun feeling indebted try to make it up to the side top and in the course falling in love with him becuase of the side tops pure and innocent love that euihyun has only ever gotten from euiyoung i think the side top would have been the type who works with patience and consistency rather than just barging in y'know lol no shade

also btw the puppy side top is a broke college student who’s barely getting by that’s why he live in that unit. kinda feel bad for him to commute so long to his school cause it’s the only unit he could afford. good thing Taeju helped him to be accepted in a research lab, hoping for his story too.

No, it already have a loopholes the moment you said he will help Euihyun pay cause he can’t even rent a place near to his school cause he’s broke af, and he’s also on the crucial part of college time cause he’s on his thesis, and mind you his program is Science (ts difficult af). Idc about Taeju, it’s the idea I’m pointing out. The only time he could help Eiuhyun is if he stopped going to college and work his ass off cause for now, Euihyun earns more than him. And by character, Euihyun will not drag anyone to his problem, cause he’s kind like that and also has a big pride.

I also want them at first tbh, but thinking about the possibility, it would be really difficult for both of them.

Again assuming for the benefit of the story im saying if the story had been made in a way that the side top would've been the end game im sure there would've been a way cause even for taeju there were many out of character moments and some "is that even possible?" moments for him too the story was made to be his story where the only way bottom could've get of his situation in the most safest and least loss in my comment i was talking about how if it was a story made for the side top and the bottom that's literally it. Btw i’ve never once tried to look at Taeju TT, i was looking through Euihyun and the whole background of the story. That’s why I keep bringing his character and the whole setting of the story. I’m a writer myself, there’s this thing called setting, set-up, and character design. In a story of gangsters, I fear your views is too positive and optimistic (it’s alr tho), but script and setting wise, I fear it wouldn’t even be possible. Cause after all, fiction is still inspired by rl events. That’s why most gangster stories is toxic, cause it’s meant to be like that.

You can read The Beat Must Die, it’s a great story for a plot with realistic aspect.

Thank you for understanding and explaining more in depth to what your saying i completely understand your opinion and it is very valid but my point was to make the story in a whole another universe where the toxic and gangster thing dont exist the past of euihyun would've been the subplot for his character taeju would've been just a side character that was there for the plot to move forward and the story would move to a more positive direction that's what I wanted to say like the whole point of my comment was that euihyun would've lived a more positive life that everything in his way was just for character development and that euiyoung and the side top would've been there to support him :")
