I dropped this on chp2 the moment I saw how the author wrongly used bulimia. Now that I'm returning and skimming past that chapter, it still irks me.
I agree with you about everything you said. It's hardly 'spreading hate'...and if anyone thinks that then humanity is more doomed as a species than I thought ever since people started relying on AI instead of thinking for everything.
Yami, I do agree that nowadays people often say that they have this kind of disorder or that. And yes, while some may have that disorder, sometimes it's normal to feel that way or have that kind of habit. It could be influenced by our environment, the things we see, genetics, etc.
And it's sad to see that some people really do weaponise it because sometimes it gives a particular disorder or condition a bad rep.
I'm happy to see Psychology be more wide spread, but it's crucial to double check those online assessment since they're often not that accurate. I remember the trend on MBTI and how people believe that it was accurate. Of course some aspects is partially true, there are still some biases to be considered and the fact that people change over time.
True! I initially thought of that too. That it was more of a Binge Eating Disorder. I also entertained the thought of Hyperphagia too.
It's also common for people to get it mixed up. Especially when they're hearing it for the first time or is not familiar. I'm glad your acquaintance manages their condition well.

Bulimia is not just characterized by overeating/binge eating. It also involves purging of what they ate. The most common is making oneself vomit/throw up.
There are also other behavioral details, but if you are curious you can do research to make it more in depth.
Be careful to also take note that any disorder can look differently depending on the individual. They can behave or think differently. Even have different physical appearances.
Also just a PSA. It's also very important to not self-diagnose. In any disorder and not just Bulimia. It can be dangerous. Consult a professional too. (◍•ᴗ•◍)
I just wanted to point this small detail out since I was intrigued at the first chapter and while it's an interesting premise. I had a double take on the description of Bulimia.
I'm not spreading hate or anything. I love this manhwa, but I just want to elaborate and spread awareness on it more since some people may not know or have encountered what Bulimia is.
