I agree. This is just rape disguised as psychological manhwa because where is the emotional chapters when it’s just rape, abuse and manipulation. This isn’t kink, it’s worse than porn for sick weirdo’s who enjoy this stuff. And people would change the subject-when it’s clearly rape-that it’s fiction which is worse. Save your time and your mental health for something better, this manhwa is traumatising not “dark romance”.

Actually guys I am traumatized by this too. But this ain't dark romance at all. The word love and romance no where exists in this mnahwa. This is actually a psychological thriller manhwa and revenge themed.
It's not a kink. I read tha accidentally and was regretting it. Untill I got to know that the Black haired one ie Juyeon got r*ped and gng , when he was just 14... Literally by the MC. It is indeed a revenge story. Whatever Juyeon is doing now, once he got affected by the same thing when he was 14 by jiwook

I haven’t read the novel but I did read somethings about it. That Juyeon is the victim and he got gang raped by Jiwook and the whole thing is that Juyeon is getting revenge-which doesn’t make the manhwa any better- since it doesn’t matter who is the abuser since both are rapists BUT I do think that it’s actually Jiwook’s fault since he started it and he doesn’t remember!? Anyway in the end I’m giving my opinion based off the manhwa (because obviously I haven’t read the novel) which is up until now is very toxic, but I would like to see how the whole revenge story is gonna turn out. But it’s just very toxic and traumatising. It’s genuinely not for the weak and I just couldn’t finish it it’s too disturbing.

Want to know why I justify rape in this case since you just basically said my own opinion is less than yours/doesn’t matter like yours does because I justify it? - it’s fictional. And it’s hot. I’ve said this to multiple people in these threads: we’re all here doing the reading equivalent of watching porn for the plot. I never kink shamed anybody, I have my own kink, you have your own kink. But the topic is about the manhwa itself and I quote " It's genuinely not for the *weak* and I just couldn't finish it it's too disturbing." I love dark romance but you can't tell me that you enjoyed the gang rape, because THAT crossed the line that's why I said it's disturbing. I never criticised the whole emotional rollercoaster between the main characters, BUT paying gangs to rape the MC is disturbing.
That's what I'm trying to make clear is that it reached to a point where it was traumatic. But flipping it over because it's just fiction? Well I have nothing to say to that if you even like it. I read so many graphic and psychological manhwas but it was only between the main characters, so when the gangs showed up it just became unbearable.
And I just expressed my opinion on that because it shocked me, and someone could see my opinion of it as a warning because that's what the comment section is for.. discussion.

It's actually so disgusting how so many bl readers are normalizing rapes, especially the authors. Rapes in bl are so normalized and readers justify it because it's "fiction", it's hot, or the one that got raped forgave the one who raped them. But if this manhwa was straight, lot of people would actually agree with what I'm saying.

Crazy, I don't find him hot at all. Seeing his face pissed me off, that I just wanted him to die in this manhwa. Plus, the author SHOULD'VE expected a bad review with this kind of shitty manhwa. And don't you dare say that I'm into this too, cause hell yeah I am. But it would've been better if there was NO rape, blackmail, and gangbang in here. The art style in smut was the only thing I find hot.

Why is that better? Lovey-dovey consent in these things are boring most of the time. Sometimes you can find good manhwa that has full consent for the entire time, but it’s rare. I’ve only found 2 good ones that weren’t boring/flat/cringy since I first started reading bl around 2015-2016. And one of them doesn’t even have consent for the entire thing.

And I’m sure the author expected to get bad reviews. It’s just annoying how you superhero “so NO♀! To rape and non-con!” Type of people come into this comment section to complain and try to call out other readers and the author for enjoying the themes. Like hunny…. The people that are in to reading fictional comics about it understand the difference between FICTION and reality.
