Poison angst, antidote resolution

The angst gripped me so hard. It was so captivating because I just desperately wanted it to be resolved. It was so thoroughly upsetting and heartbreaking but the resolution felt earned and they were such a beautiful couple so seeing their reunion was such a relief.
I can only compare this experience to being smothered with a pillow and right as it's about to be my end the pillow is yanked away, fluffed, and gently put beneath my head.

Love the art, this artist draws cuties so well and I really felt that breath of air for the ending. When Hwan woke up sobbing hyung it GOT ME.

It's not perfect but I was genuinely so enthralled. I think if it had about 10 chapters of side story it would be perfect because I need more of them being happy and with their baby <3
I had to reread so many sections because they made me feel such intense emotion.

I hope Yun Kyeong finds a beautiful love because he's a good guy at the end of the day.
Hwan was such an interesting character because you can definitely tell that his horrible personality was like that 5 years ago and the reset was like taking an alternative path where he didn't soften up right. It makes sense that instead of the gradual and genuine connection they formed that softened him up the sudden presence of a relationship he thought he hated would make him lash out. I'm not sure if I'm able to articulate what I really mean, but I love when I can see a characters motivations/reasons. It makes total sense, even if it sucks.

My poor Ji-an though </3 the heartbreak I felt every time he endured the horrible treatment because he desperately hoped for the gentle and sweet Hwan back. It broke me so much, especially how he started blaming himself. But it was exactly what was needed. If the only way he could bring himself to protect himself was to help protect Hwan, then that's what it takes. I loved that reasoning because it really does take that sort of convincing for some people to take care of themselves. If he can't protect himself for his own sake, at the very least he can protect himself because he knows Hwan wouldn't want him hurt.

This was so engaging and good and I definitely can't say everyone will like it but it had genuine complexity to me that I loved and the resolution truly didn't let me down. Definitely angsty but the sweetness made it worth it
