Only 3 people know he hit mc, mc, the blonde asshole, and the dude that hit him. Nobody reported it to the school, cops, or anywhere else, so how would there be any intervention or consequences? Obviously the violent dude is not going to self report him hitting a teacher, MC is just desperate to get the medical evidence that his pheromones were an accident, and blonde asshole is solely focusing on manipulating mc into a vulnerable enough position to hurt him to get back at Dojin. None of them are interested in telling others at this point for various reasons, and it’s been less than 20 minutes since the incident.

Hmm well everyone is entitled to their opinion, but a victim of physical and psychological abuse being intimidated and cowed by further abuse, especially in a situation where he could be considered at fault (which still doesn’t justify violence). Leaking pheromones is a big deal, considered inappropriate, and seems like it could even be a fireable offense. It’s not surprising that his priority is to clear his name on top of that.
I think MC is actually much more well written than most doormat MCs since there has been a clear reasoning as to why he is so skittish and timid, and there has been a slow growth in his self worth and mental health throughout the story. It feels realistic as to the fact that actual trauma and abuse victims don’t just magically wake up one day fully confident and self assured, ready to fight for their rightful treatment in the world.
Victims of long term abuse are conditioned to believe that it is their fault and that escape is impossible. As for your comment that he wouldn’t even do anything if he got beaten to death, that happens every day to victims of domestic violence. It’s not that surprising for him to revert to his old mentality in such an adrenaline charged situation.
Besides, his personality and character arc has been consistent since chapter 1, so his reactions shouldn’t be that shocking. If you really hate him that much, maybe consider picking up a different comic since it’s probably not going to change
