absolutely. doomed yuri and yaoi is top tier tragedy and peak romance. doomed straight romances rarely hit it for me. "forbidden lovers" and who's forbidding you from getting together?? the wall??? don't pmo.

eren x mikasa (apt) - i haven't watched aot and i refuse to watch it but eremika lowkey doomed as hell.
"sitaramam" - tacky religion/country hate politics propaganda at the start but if you think about the love love story of the leads, lord it was so doomed and hit like a truck at the end. watched that movie w/o any spoilers and genuinely thought it was some cute soldier romance. i cried for an hour straight after the movie ended T_T like tears running down my face, struggling to breath, it was so painful. peak yearning from both ML and FL's side. both looked so pretty.
