like i get it. but if a person i love fainted in front of me, i'd worry too much to think about why i was upset, especially if I felt like it was my fault. I think/hope they will talk it out in the next chapter, after he leaves the hospital. The sudden dad reveal was a little too quick i agree loool

oh 100% agree. I get why ML was upset about not being trusted but jfc if your partner is that upset actually talk to him and try to understand what's going on!!! Also I still don't get who was calling his phone?? There's some stuff that need to be addressed and explained for sure.
It's even worse because MC got suspicious AFTER ML kept a secret from him, which means ML had no reason to feel offended. And wasn't the guy calling his phone the one who MC spoke with and tried to lie to him? The one who said he was the "lifesaver"?

You've got MC worrying for SEVERAL chapters that ML is keeping secrets, and ML denies this and feels hurt by it--despite the fact that he told his professor about being involved with a vampire. MC feels guilty for doing it, and now he gets the reveal that ML WAS keeping a secret from him, but they brush past it. And then we're also revealed that the professor is MC's dad, which is revealed so casually that it could've been revealed earlier and I'm not sure why they waited this long.
