Its probably because yk the blonde is the one in love now and the black hair guys dad killed blondes mom so blackhair feels guilty and WANTS to reject him but is still full of jealousy and guilt as well as love

i kinda like the flow but the switch of their personality from they were teenagers to present is still quite odd. it’s like they switch personalities which is kind of off writing for me. it’s too sudden and out of place.
