Especially when, again, we have a realistically handled non-supernatural story for the first season, and are just suddenly defying the laws of human capabilities in the second. Based on what we’ve gotten previously, I just expected the whole ex thing to be handled with the same amount of plausibility that everything else has been. It could have been written better/ handled with more sincerity and forethought instead of being a super-human power fantasy. It’s just like the genre suddenly changed all of a sudden. Idk lol
Oh boy, really starting to push the limits of believability here. First off, no one is leaving behind a puddle of blood and trail THAT extensive without either being dead, or in critical condition. I’m talking ICU. Even if the brain trauma from being bludgeoned by a metal trophy somehow MIRACULOUSLY didn’t kill him, or floor-head slam from the fall didnt kill him, the significant loss of blood definitely would have. He’s certainly not waking up a few moments later coherent and able to function or speak in any meaningful way. And certainly not pulling Judo or martial arts moves lmao At BEST he is drifting in and out of seizures and consciousness following months of hospitalization. Again, BEST case scenario. I’m sorry, I know it’s fiction, and certain things are drawn for shock value or to add excitement, but…yeah, that’s just not how any of that works. Ex is catching a murder or attempted murder charge 100% and buddy boy would be on a stretcher. Shame how silly this is, because the story has felt pretty believable and relatively organic until this.
Also if they brush this whole ordeal under the rug with the “we don’t need to send anyone to jail or press charges, he’s just heartbroken, it’s all understandable” bullshit that they usually pull with violent exes/rivals in other BLs, I’m gonna hurl
