I don’t even understand why this is necessary for the story to progress. That old geezer needs to be tied up, dowsed in gasoline, made to drink rubbing alcohol and whiskey, and set on fire only to be thrown into the ocean with bricks chained around him after he succumbs to the burns. I’m sure y’all think that’s a bit much but I personally don’t think it’s enough.
