His parents didn't. Chapter 1 shows his dad begging for him to be spared and Jaheon even says in later chapters that his dads were forced to have sex and have more kids, used and abused by the family.
Jaheon just left his parents (well, parent? I guess one dad died offscreen?) and siblings. He sucks almost as bad as Mugo.
