I think he just has trama or something. Can’t think of any other reason besides that. He did say he hated lies.
I mean he gaslighted him for a long while that they where not the same person, until Jihan finally believed him. They even started dating and the guy didnt come clean at any moment, he has many times to explain and he chose to keep pretending. If that happened to you, you will probably at minimun feel like an idiot. Like who wants to date someone that can lie so easily? And on top of that Jihan has been stated to have trauma related to betrayal so this is specially triggering to him.
People lying online normally don't start crying and wanting the person to stay. So if you'd try thinking yourself you'd realize it's not your usual someone-lied-online situation.
Every rational person would break down after it turns out the person they dated lied to them about their identity. What happens is that the entire brain goes into meltdown, your hippocampus starts to evaluate every memory you have with them, your amygdala massively increases adrenalin and cortisol production and the anterior cingulate cortex immediately immediately gives a painful cognitive dissonance.
That is when there was a relationship involving trust before, which clearly was. Maybe some of you really should start the dating game to understand what's going on.
I dont get it why this is such a big deal, people online lie all the time
