Definitely one of the best reads I've ever had. It was an absolute roller coaster of emotions from start to finish.
This isn't your typical BL story where the two main characters are destined to fall in love no matter what happens. It takes a much darker, more realistic approach, and that's what made it so memorable.
I genuinely felt bad for the police officer (I forgot his name). He didn't deserve everything he went through. I kept hoping that bastard would finally get what he deserved. Even though the ending wasn't exactly the justice I wanted, it was still an incredible story.
