I don't know what this comment means, but read it guys. It's not your typical redemption, the ML's personally doesn't magically gets better and become a new different person but he keeps trying his utmost from his twisted personality.

I read the novel and I thought ML will atleast regret or chase the MC or atleast suffer for a bit for all the shitty things he did but no he did not and homophobic ml is really not my style so yeah waste of time

Well, good for me I liked the way it is.
They aren't best versions of typical characters, yes.
But do they suit each other? Well yes.
MCs love was far greater than the ML, yes.
But he WAS NOT an spineless idiot.
I can't say good things about ML but he wasn't hopeless.
They'll be doing okay in their future. (I know it)
