Ending really ruins the rest of the story. Just nonsensical and poorly conveyed

back in the past* he regresses, he doesn’t travel to the future. BUT anyways, im pretty sure he never lost his ability to regress, he just made an agreement to mc that he wouldn’t regress even if things failed to go his way… or maybe he did lose that ability but then i do not recall it lmao

I do remember him making a promise. But also.....how tf did the writer go from the mc following the ticking watch to the other form of the mc being the one to answer the door. That isnt an end, we barely even know who this alt form is you cant end on a character barely touched on.
