as someone who went through something similar to him, its really discouraging seeing how much people use this situation to hate on him rather than trying to put themselves in his shoes :/ grief a really difficult thing to convey + understand specially if you haven't gone through it, but the author is doing such a careful and wonderful job, it's one of the best portrayals ive seen honestly. i really, really feel for him. you will see the people you lost in everything and everyone, possibly forever.
i read once that grief is love with nowhere to go, i think that concept may help folks who don't quite understand what heejae is going through. for heejae, i can assure you garam is not and will never be a replacement for the manager. hes just now learning to grieve possibly for the first time in over a decade. im really happy this side of him is being explored in such careful and delicate detail, very rare to see
