If they ca have the balls to oppose Guwon and the hounds and succeed shit just maybe they’ll be able to survive and if not then they get their freedom and die from their circumstances. With Guwon and his blood lustful hounds everyone in the town will eventually slip up one day after the other and be killed. Also did one of the kids dad not get killed for taking medicine for his sick kid or am I misremembering that?
In Apocalypse, literal hellscape worlds, morals and idealism are a luxury you just can't afford if you don’t have the raw power to back it up.
Jinwoo claims he’s trying to free everyone, but he’s lowkey just projecting his own personal revenge for Dr. Lim’s and his dad’s death onto the entire town. He’s adopting the abuser’s cruelty without having any of his power to protect anyone, leading everyone straight to the slaughterhouse under the guise of idealism.

The townpeople are genuinely so trash, stupid, and unearnedly arrogant! Like, you guys were literally gonna die anyway!! But Guwon gave you a chance at a decent life; free housing, food, water, clothing, zero effort required, plus protection and a whole functioning society with healthcare, education, culture, you name it… all under a few specific rules he set to maintain order (literally like actual laws and constitutions pre-apocalypse!). If you just follow the rules, you won't get beaten or executed… so what is your actual problem, you fools!? Just follow the law!
I get that losing your loved ones just because a dictator deems them useless is a hard pill to swallow, but let’s be real! you couldn't have protected them out there anyway, and they would've died horrific deaths right in front of your eyes regardless! So why pretend now?

Ugh, they make me so sick! At the end of the day, not a single one of them showed Guwon an ounce of gratitude, love, or appreciation.
I’m not saying he’s perfect, he definitely has his flaws, and his lack of mercy is by far the worst, but if everyone had actually bonded, tried to change his mindset, and treated him like a person instead of cowering in fear, he would’ve genuinely changed! That’s literally why he favored Teach over everyone else: in the beginning, Teach actually loved him, showed genuine affection, and treated him as a friend and equal rather than fearing or worshipping him.
Yeah, I know Teach was the only one who didn't arrive at the town because of a tragedy Guwon caused, so he never saw his dark side, didn't fear him, and didn't put up boundaries… but still, everyone else just gave up and let others die because they were cowards, never even trying to make a change. And now they think revenging themselves by killing Guwon is the answer!?
They are all completely brainless. If there were a single rational person among them, they’d ask themselves what they’re even gonna do without Guwon. But honestly, he spoon-fed them so much safety, peace, and security that they completely forgot they’re living in an apocalypse literally one step away from starving, dying of thirst, or getting ripped apart by the undead.
