I do think the rebellion thing is "stupid" since they have everything they need and all you need to do is follow the rules but the rules itself is quite lacking, it has equality no matter what age or gender everyone will be equal no matter if you're disabled or not. That is equality without equity, hencewhy the villagers are making a rebellion and also on a moral standpoint like a kid needing more medical treatment than adults, an old person needing more attention than younger people so on and so forth, morals is something guwon can't comprehend since morals itself is something that has alot more depth than people give it credit for so i get the reason on why they wanna do this rebellion but if we do consider other factors like the outside place being more dangerous, guwon literally killing people who aren't of "use" (the villagers' family, friends etc), constant hunt of supplies, they have everything they need, a "peaceful" environment. They need a new system, a new leader, a new set of rules to fix those problems and in order to do that is by killing surprise surprise guwon.
I'm leaning on the rebellion because, it has been proven time and time again the rules aren't so "fair" imagine this, you have a sibling that is horribly sick and they're on the verge of death but they cannot be treated due to them reaching the limited number of medicine for each person so you can't do anything as everyone is "equal" and no person should be getting anything extra just because they are sick. It does set on laws of everyone being equal but remember equality and equity is something that cannot be separated!
Anyway the story is pretty interesting and i'm really loving it so far! Also guwon is not dying.... that much is really obvious but if he does he'll die by his love's hands
