I was trying, I am a very patient person, that’s why I got a headache from how annoyed I was, but still kept reading. You read the novel, right? A lot of people dropped it because of ML. Nobody nowadays accepts bullying as a dating strategy, that’s sth you here from the teachers and parents just to shut you up.

Hahaha I wasn't being fr about the bullying part. I meant it like those fan fiction tropes where y/n gets bullied and accepts the dude anyway because he realises hes in love.

I finished the novel too yes. And honestly since I finisned it I just know a couple of things that makes it clear that ML is not really that bothered about MC's behaviour it's something he knows he can expect from his 22 year old mind. There's like more to it thats why he's so affected. Idk how far ahead you are but him being mean to him is not the worst thing for the ML hes hurt about various other things. There are just way too many misunderstandings early on in the novel that are to be dealt with.

I found MC's reactions funny though like how he just sent text to him waited for him to send texts to him too but then got angry because he didn't get a text from him. Its very teenage like to me. Being obsessed with the facts that they are roommates. I thought all of that was cute. He was very delusional for a long time then when the delusion wore off he changed strategies. Trying to sabotage his time with others. He waits around all day. He cooks for him like thats the only thing he wants him to eat. Tries to take care of him.
