it makes sense that she’s like that.. cesare and those in that mansion protected her and sheltered her to the point of obliviousness. i have no doubt that she probably waited for cesare to come back even when she was under that guillotine. cesare realised she is too naive for her own good and is trying to toughen her up. i like that about him
