YESSSS, firstly I thought the top was just dumb and couldn't figure it out when he genuinely liked someone. But now he just seems someone who uses ppl
He uses because he doesn’t wanna be the one who gets hurt in any kinda relationship. Be it friend or romantic.
It’s why he likes this guy so much, cuz he just assumes he’ll get only a little annoyed but shrug his shoulders and accept it eventually. You can say he was coddled by the bottom in that regard, but then they’d never have stayed friends if he didn’t! Which is so annoying.
He needs a hard look inward, cuz the bottoms life is getting ruined all because of him. Like even if he feels bad and tries to make it up, that can just make it worse tbh.

Like the friendship is so clearly dead at this point, it’s not recovering folks don’t even try the defibrillator, they’ve passed. After this school incident I wouldn’t be surprised if he just fucks off and moves away to avoid this nonsense.
