I’ve expected Katarina to be Adeline but how devastated I was knowing it was the real Haley who was reincarnated as Adeline in this timeline. I fully believed it was still the same Haley from the past life. I’ve been to attached to Dillon as Haley (girlie isn’t a good narrator, huh?), but I know where the author’s going here since there’s been a lot of foreshadowing since many chapters ago. They probably want to emphasize the strong belief of how love found it’s own way to two fated souls whether be it in different form, shape, and appearances. However, my selfishness got the best of me (thanks to og!Adeline’s bad narration, can’t be helped since she doesn’t know anything from her past) that I really want Dillon to be the og!Haley.

To be honest, I'm conflicted about this story. I love that in this timeline they got all that they deserved. I also love that og!Haley (now Katarina) found her own true self without selflessly devoting herself to Dillon, she’s finally not bound to her original fate. I just get attached too much in Dillon as Haley and not to Dillon as Adeline. Maybe if only this was revealed too soon I would have loved the idea of Dillon as Adeline but well goes that dream, eh? I‘m happy though that Adeline and Cedric found each other in this lifetime, too, but without much conflict and everyone got their own happy ending. I just cannot look at Dillon the way I used too t______t.

I don’t hate the real Adeline, ok?

Just read the remaining chapters after the revelation for the fun. Sparks and shit went flying to the flush when it came. It felt like I tasted a very much anticipated cake dream i’ve ever wanted only for the remaining slic to be styrofoam . But I'm also happy that's why I don't know how to describe this
