The FL is making terrible decisions for herself. She is being completely selfish toward the ML. She’s not taking into account her own health, her well-being, her reputation, or the ML’s all under the guise of doing it 'for love,' and for a man with whom things obviously can't mix. This story started with her taking the place of her dead sister. Obviously if she cared about any of those things she would have not gone to him nor would have been stuck with her family in the beginning.
This is a character who has endured a life of nothing but abuse. The only thing that kept her going is her now dead sister.
Obviously she doesn't care what happens to her.
