    They will win for story progress. If they lose or it ends with a tie, they're out of the tournament. To advance to the next group stage, each team needs 3 wins. Currently both teams won twice. If they tie in this match, the win will go automatically to Britain since so far in the tournament, they made more goals than BlueLock. There's a "best team advance" (more goal) rules in these cases.

    My point is its unlikely their progress will be cut short so early. Like this is the first stage group.... And after all the hype, it just be depressing if they don't advance haha.

    oh yeah that's another factor. more like, i mean storywise in a theme pov, it'd make sense for them to beat england considering how japan was always team first before goals first so it's a good match up of ideals for them to beat vs france's
