The slave/prince actually isnt the ml. Its the current husband (or fiance)! This is a spoiler someone else posted so take with a grain of salt but apparently the prince gets obsessed with MC to the point of kidnapping her and doing typical toxic ml bullshit before the real ML shows up to save her and put the prince in his place. So yay!
