I’d like to clarify a bit when it comes to the ‘no one’s a villain’ part. We can say that because we have seen every part of the characters and can understand without bias since we’re not involved. However, characters like Heejae and Mr. ‘Defect from what you love’ are definitely villains in other character’s stories.
We can understand the why and how but it doesn’t change the impact. Otherwise, I agree that there isn’t a villain to this story on a whole. Just consequences
Ooh I agree, honestly I thought heejae is a character if appeared irl most people would tremendously hate and even in the narration itself han's perspective is very forgiving as well, and we can only call flawed people as such by being unbiased readers. But life is such, everyone would be perceived differently by different people for sure.
Ch 150: I know this is totally besides the point but how on earth are they all so shippable with han? I thought I was just a perv but what I think is
- all the former students have a sort of trauma bond and seem to naturally gravitate towards others because of the shares experience of having to endure heejae. So when they do it and see Han, who seems to be the only one of them who not only remains unscathed, but even more radiant despite heejae (or because of him, but they don't know that), they're all drawn towards him.
- I also love seeing how Heejae's bs is causing everyone to crashout differently. There's no "villain" here, just people exhibiting consequences to an action.
- I also love how everybody seems to presume they know han, or maybe he appears pure? (Bless walter's poor heart) But he has such a deep masochistic tendency to him, it's so reiterated without words that only prof can truly know han, music and all.
