I like this straight guideverse more than other non-BL guideverse stories... All the other ones have been flimsy bad excuses for low grade porn with badly written characters, and some weak plot devices.
This one actually goes dark with the story, and deep with politics. Too bad that they have wrong artist for this, so the dark parts don't make as much of an impact and cheapens everything. The art is just too colorful and always even. Not much of a change with any mood, other than the comedy parts.
This series would be so much better if they tweaked the story board a bit, wouldn't rush the important or dark moments too much - and if it had a different artist. The art isn't bad, but it doesn't support the story.
