jk i can think of a good redemption arc: jintae from while you were sleeping. hurting his ex and only caring about traditional a/b/o dynamics bc of how he was raised and slowly reflecting and apologizing to the point he was beloved enough to become the side couple
but yeah even my favorite the third ending is at best a regret arc (with moments of redemption). the nameless flower is more of a redemption bc he learns to let go

it’s not a redemption arc? he’s not being redeemed yet? it’s his regret arc his pathetic groveling arc he hasn’t even taken the first step on reflecting on what he did. if nanjo didn’t physically bar him from visiting his company i bet mokyeon would have turned up on his doorstep every single day that is not reflecting nor redeeming himself. i feel bad for mokyeon (to love someone so much it drives you to ruins is very pitiful) but i’m irritated by people claiming this is a redemption arc bc so far his only “redeeming” quality was his apology (that he barged into sunhwa’s house and used his phone for. manipulating his friend to get to nanjo) but even then it was more groveling and saying what the other person wants for just a second more under his gaze (and then ignoring nanjo’s actual request). A TRUE REDEMPTION ARC… trying to think of bl examples but most just follow the trend of regretting and lamenting and the uke taking pity on the seme and allowing them back into their lives so i don’t have high hopes for this one (they don’t make good redemption arcs like zuko no more)
i mean i have full faith it’s gonna be a happy ending and i’m glad danrim is having the time of their life drawing and plotting this arc and i can’t wait to see what happens but god this is at best a regret arc.
