Look, I'm sorry, but no matter what excuses you gave earlier, this statement right here is proof of pure wickedness and a total lack of mercy or empathy! To see someone suffering, completely losing their will to live and any ray of hope -losing the job he loves, his best friend (regardless of both of them being in the wrong), and the only person he ever loved (also regardless of his actions)- crying day and night, getting beaten up, getting humiliated over and over again... He called the guy he loves non-stop, leaving messages where he totally degraded himself and begged just to hear his voice. He went all the way to the guy's workplace begging for a single glance, only to get sidelined and thrown out. He lost weight, his mental and physical peace, and at this point literally looks like he's seriously considering ending it all... and after ALL THAT, you think he deserves MORE?! How can you be this heartless, girl?!

I disagree. Suffering doesn't automatically equal accountability.
Most of what happened to Mok is the natural consequence of his own choices, not some unfair punishment. He pursued someone who was already emotionally involved with someone else, manipulated the situation to get closer to Nanjo, repeatedly ignored Nanjo's feelings, and never truly took responsibility before everything fell apart.
Losing your job, your relationships, or your mental stability doesn't erase the harm you caused. Plenty of people suffer after making bad decisions—
that alone doesn't mean they've "paid enough." What actually matters is whether they've acknowledged what they did, understood why it was wrong, and made genuine efforts to change.
And I also think your perspective is heavily influenced by the fact that we've seen Mok's entire POV and tragic backstory. We know his trauma, his loneliness, and exactly what he's thinking, so it's naturally easier to empathise with him. If the story had been told solely from Nanjo's perspective, like it was for a large part of Season 1, I doubt nearly as many people would be this quick to defend Mok. Readers' sympathy changes when they're given access to a character's inner thoughts that doesn't automatically make the character less responsible for what they did.
You can sympathise with Mok's suffering, but that doesn't mean everyone has to believe he's fully atoned for his actions.
Funny enough, those friends that came to visit him and take care of him that everyone is thanking, he is just as close to Sunhwa or even more close to him than he is with them. Which makes what he did to Sunhwa even worse to think about.
Having an honest conversation with his friend about his feelings for said friend’s boyfriend, which they don’t really care about that much, would have yielded better results instead of going behind their back to sleep with said boyfriend, get jealous and practically try to strongarm your way into a relationship you don’t even deserve to have is one thing, but still trying to badmouth and “expose” said friend to their boyfriend (like you’re any better), seeing NOTHING wrong with doing all of this by the way, is why I can never get over how disgusted I feel towards Mokyeon right now.
Doing something wrong is one thing but doubling down and never admitting that you did wrong is just on another level. He hasn’t even suffered enough as far I’m concerned. That bastard made my Nanjo cry.
