Good soup

This story is very mature and complex compared to other manga. I’m the type to, full stop, never forgive a rapist ML. Ever. No matter if he apologizes or not. That being said, I hope the ML in this manga does more than what he has. I think it’s a good start but I won’t lower my standards just bc the bar is in hell. I can’t write him off like the other MLs as the consequences of his actions have actually taken a toll on his psyche but what he did still significantly hurt the MC. He sexually assaulted the MC and would’ve continued if the MC didn’t escalate. His selfishness got the MC hurt.
I think there’s a lot of nuance ppl are missing when it comes to a story like this. It isn’t THAT complex or hard to grasp but the ML doesn’t need to be babied. Apologizing for your actions is the first thing to do, the NORMAL thing to do. MC not forgiving him immediately really showed the reality of this.
All in all, TLDR; I’m looking forward to how to see if the author will let the ML grow into a better person or become like every other tasteless yaoi ML. I feel like he has room to grow and be better but his criticism is extremely justified.
