I actually understand your viewpoint, altho considering each of their circumstances from the past, they both know their lack in the field of love and romance, and they just be trying to fill the gap in their own ways... overall i think the author just want to make it a light and casual read. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ tho it also made it boring and within expectations, also my opinion.
It's a nice story worth reading, but my only criticism is that the romance is very weak. Literally, the two of them don't seem like a married couple—or maybe it's just the way they show their feelings: she's pretty cold and he's more affectionate, but they still seem like two friends pretending to be married, even though they trust and care for each other. In short, zero romance. (At least that's my personal opinion.)(〜￣△￣)〜 6/10
