Thank you for saying this because I was so fucking frustrated because I just I hated him. I just could not just help me put a couple things into perspective because I swear to God I quit reading this before anything happened that far I hope the redemption Ark is destructively satisfying. I do agree. I genuinely kind of wish. We could see a version of where he genuinely just explained it. He’s a literal businessman. I have no idea why he just didn’t sit him down. Make a fucking contract because he would’ve felt better he wouldn’t have felt like a whore. He would’ve just felt like this is a win-win situation for both of us. We gained something from this mutually not a half ass need but like actual life and death in both situations he would’ve actually come to like him. He’s just stupid and our baby is too much of a baby because he’s also a little bit dumb not dumb specifically more like gullible.

YES he is and I kinda have a theory as to why he suddenly became a scumbag. For years he thought his rainwater was only a figment of his imagination but on a random tuesday he suddenly found it, got a taste of it, but instead of cherishing him like the Shaman told him to, he's slowly destroying him, it's his thirst talking. He can't get enough of the feeling of ease when he got a taste of our baby Cheowoong. Imagine being pent up for years and years and suddenly feeling better because of one taste, of course he'd be greedy. Second, the feeling of 'unease' that he's feeling whenever he sees Cheowoong happy, that's also his feeling of happiness but what can we do he doesn't understand his own feelings, he thought they were bad and so he doesn't want to see CW happy. Lastly, read the title guys The Tale of a VILLAIN. He's a VILLAIN of course he'll be cruel but he's also kinda stupid cause like... If only he explained gis situation to CW, he would've given it, they could've made a contract of agreement, CW would be paid, and JW will feel better. Overall I think it has potential for a gut wrenching angst but JW has a 50/50 satisfying redemption arc, let's just hope he'll listen to Choi for once, that dumbass off a fucking man.
