Yeah, and there seems to be this stupid notion that the initial consent wraps it up. Well, it doesn't, and Enzo deserves a good beating. And let's not forget, Rian intended to ruin his company from the beginning, though he seems a bit reluctant to do even that.
Well, his empathy acting up KIND OF makes sense. The main point here is their differences. We know that Rian has killed people, but when Enzo asked him about killing the Connector, he said he's not rotten like Enzo, and it's not like he's opposed to killing if he has to, but they're still fundamentally different. Also, Rian accepting that difference isn't the same as accepting Enzo, or forgiving him. Enzo's incapable of truly understanding what he did wrong, while Rian can, and if he does the same thing, it might not even hurt Enzo as much as it would hurt him!
