I honestly don't know how the story will end. As much as I adore happy endings, there's something about bittersweet, open endings that hint at happiness and hope that always stays with me.
I can imagine the ending as them finding their way back to the place where they first met after everything that they will definitely go through... like heartbreak, individual growth etc, and then just like the first time, the MC decides to take a step toward what he wants. And the ML once again chooses him, chooses to be with him.
