What are u concerned abt, it's good that they get regular break after every 5 weeks
Because of the work overload. The artists simply burn out from sitting 8 or more hours in front of their desk, drawing and painting massive amounts while being pressured immensely by the time schedule and viewers expectations. On top comes that many, if not most artists, suffer from perfectionism which can affect the mental health a lot (you will never really be happy with what you've created in this specific situation because you're also so limited.). Also they see and do the same exact thing everyday, it tires you. Plus writing the script (which they now finished) and planning the chapters composition and it's panels is immense work too. Many artist have wrist injuries or back problems because of the repeating hand movement and long sitting. I'm an artist and comic author btw so I know how it feels
I’m actually curious why so many popular creators get so sick that they need to take extended hiatuses? This happens a lot and it makes me concerned for them.
