I get it. Don't agree, but I get it. I don't think he's been sufficiently arrogant or conceited or presumptuous to warrant that in the story. No need to rob someone who is struggling to overcome and actually does, even with help.
The times that get annoying are when the MC is naive or stupid and just presumes everything will always be fine and never faces consequences for that. This MC isn't like that.

Well for the betterment of the story, it needs tragedy or hardships facing the mc. I feel like hes just taking a stroll in a flower field, the plot is getting kinda flat to me

Fr I feel the same way, everyone else in on the hard mode while him and his family are on a flower path the easy mode.

I don't have anything against him and I would 100% feel bad if something did happen to his family but the Mc is definition of Mary Sue. Nothing ever bad happens to him directly and if it does it is always somehow solved, I love against maybe thats why I feel this way but come on atleast kill off one of his family members to that it is fair. Not only are all of them overpowered but they are also all alive?! Make it make senes
