I believe that was the point. The prosecutor never pretended to be the better person or even take a moral high ground. It’s literally shown in every episode, even went back to a murder know he killed his family.
hated the mc more than the ml. he was so shitty, selfish and narcissistic without even murdering someone. it baffled me when he said that he became a prosecutor to become rightful or wtv, after everything he did to his brother
