Overall, this is pretty lukewarm. The plot isn’t terrible, but I’m not that interested in the whole “saving the world premise” when the FL hasn’t trained with her holy powers, will get out of any harmful situation because of plot armor rather than intelligence, and is pretty naive. ML/FL’s relationship is cute but thats about it. She’s not even sure if she wants to be the duchess even after they’ve confessed like are we serious? If her freedom mattered so much to her they could’ve made that a character trait of hers rather than an excuse that makes me personally feel like she’s less committed than him. The second couple is easily more interesting because they have actual goals (educating impoverished kids with an innate ability for magic, becoming the emperor to improve the state of the empire, etc.)… The FL and ML do not. Would only recommend if you’re just looking for something to read, rather than something that will stick with you/be a personal favorite. This is not that.
