Nah I agree with you. I had tuberculosis and for like a month I had the constant taste of blood in mouth (due to coughing blood). Metallic taste is gross at least to me, enough to make me want to clean my month at every cough. Anyway yeah drinking blood in media general lost its romantized appeal to me after that... Ofc it doesn't stop read all the vampire stories haha. I just made peace that the characters and everyone that enjoyers the taste have different tastebuds than mine haha
I remember once I accidentally cut my finger, its so tiny tho, and put it in my mouth to stop the bleeding, and I got to taste my own blood. It tastes so baddddd, it actually made me feel like throwing up! I don’t know if I’m afraid of blood, but I also almost fainted that time… or maybe I’m just iron-deficient?
